The Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is committed to excellence in academic medicine. The Division emphasizes patient care, teaching and state-of-the-art translational research.

We offer state of the art multimodality invasive and noninvasive procedures, at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center, University Hospital and at the Audie Murphy Division, South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Our clinician scientist’s investigations in clinical research allow us to take advantage of innovative therapies by participating in the development of emerging treatment strategies. Translation and Basic Science research are dedicated to uncovering new information about cardiovascular pathophysiology at the cellular and molecular level. We look forward to an exciting future.
